White kitchens are a popular choice for many, but you may not realize how many different shades of white are available for kitchen cabinets.

Homeowners can choose different shades with Dura Supreme’s new personal paint match program. Through this program, the company partners with Sherwin Williams to offer more than 1,500 colors in the paint palette for cabinetry. Wistrom said white and shades of white are the most popular choices, but in bathrooms or for a kitchen hutch, homeowners may select a more dramatic color choice.
For the paint match program, the Sherwin Williams color is selected and then a cabinetry paint sample is created for Holzman Interiors to review with our client. Once the color is approved, Dura Supreme builds and finishes the cabinetry for a custom look.
As designers, we are often asked about color trends and how to incorporate them. Although trends and fashion can be considered, they should not be the only deciding factor. Being able to select the perfect shade of white that complements the countertop and tile and works well in specific lighting can be more difficult than you think, but with these custom choices it makes the process much easier.
